The 7th Annual
7th Annual Nomination Procedures and Categories
Nominations can be submitted beginning 12:01 a.m. PST June 15, 2012 at napola.org or organizingawards.com and close 11:59 p.m., July 27, 2012. Nominations are open to the general public in 24 categories.
NOMINATIONS REVIEW AND SELECTION OF FINALISTS:
Upon close of the Call for Nominations the Awards Voting Committee will review all submissions and consider all nominations submitted for each category. Finalists will be selected based on how well each nominee represents the category description with their services and/or products and their overall impact in the organizing industry/community. At the conclusion of the submissions review, the Voting Committee will name up to five (5) “finalists” in each respective category. Each of the named finalists will be placed on the Official 2012 Organizing Awards Ballot. All finalists placed on the ballot must be approved by the Voting Committee, the decisions of which are final and entirely within the discretion of NAPO-LA.
Voting shall take place online at napola.org or organizingawards.com, beginning 12:01 a.m. PST August 10, 2012 and concluding 11:59 p.m. PST November 30, 2012.
Voting is NOT open to the general public this year. Only NAPO National Members may vote on Awards (1 through 20) and only the NAPO-LA Chapter Board members (host city) may vote on special categories, including “Special Recognition,” “Volunteer of the Year,” “Raising the Bar,” and “The Leading Edge” awards. Voting on all categories is restricted to one (1) ballot form per NAPO member only. Awards will be presented to the individual or company that receives the highest number of votes in each award category. In the event that an equal number of votes is received by more than one finalist in any one category, awards will be presented to all winning parties.
Awards shall be presented at The 7th Annual Organizing Awards to be held at the Sheraton Universal Hotel beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2013.
