Gus Gougas is founder and president of OrganizIT!, a Simi Valley-based business that provides products and services within the garage remodeling/organization industry. Gus started OrganizIT! in 2006 as a result of his dissatisfaction with the level of professionalism within the home improvement industry. With over 20 years of experience in corporate America, Gus started OrganizIT! with a focus on service and professionalism.  Since OrganizIT! was started, it has been recognized as “Best Garage Design Firm” by NAPO-LA in 2009, 2010, and 2011. 

Gus has appeared on numerous TV programs about garage organization on NBC, KCAL, and HGTV; published a host of articles on garage organization for a variety of publications and websites such as eXaminer.com, SoCal.com, and the Daily News.com; and has been recognized as an expert on the topic of garage organization by eZineArticles.com. 

Gus has over 20 years of experience in enterprise sales and sales/marketing, working with companies such as Symantec, Unisys, Logica, and Lanier; he has been responsible for sales quota’s upwards of $20 million a year. During his tenure with these companies, Gus attended sales and sales/marketing courses such as Solution Selling, Strategic Selling, Synergistic Selling, AMA, LAMP, Leadership 2000, Selection Interviewing, Stephen Covey, Jack Carew, Fortune Group, Zenger Miller, Thomas Peters, Zig Ziglar, and Harris/Lanier Advanced Sales Training; and he has conducted sales/marketing training classes at various companies for groups from 10 to 100.

Gus is a native to the Los Angeles area, is married, and has two children. For fun Gus enjoys coaching youth sports, racquetball, golf, football, and poker.
