“Avoid that road to burnout and learn how to make friends with time!”

What is the one thing that none of us can control, cannot get back, and is absolutely priceless? TIME. We all crave more of it – with each day being less than 24 hours when you factor in the 5-8 hours of sleep our body needs – and STILL we keep attempting to carve out more and more to accomplish the increasing demands on our life (ie: family, career, faith, friends, tasks & to-dos, etc.). The result is burnout and a constant state of feeling overwhelmed and frazzled.

This lively INTERACTIVE & ENGAGING class will remind you of the basic concepts, too often ignored, to effectively manage your time and help your clients manage theirs.

In This Class You Will Learn:

  • The definition of “Burnout”: recognizing the signs and learning how to make changes to prevent it
  • How-to increase your awareness on setting expectations (yourself & others)
  • How to understand the difference between striving for “Perfection” verses “Excellence”
  • How to recognize areas in your life where the scales are unbalanced
  • Time management basics & techniques

Tanisha Lyons-Porter

Tanisha started Natural Born Organizers in January 2013, after working in corporate for over 20 years, realizing she was born for the organizing and productivity industry. She is a wife, mother of three, and caregiver to many. What's overwhelming to most...is motivation to find efficiency through organization to her.

Her mantra is Balance or Bust! Why so extreme? Because for her, if she didn’t change her ways it was a matter of life or death. Tanisha was traveling down that “Road to Burnout.” She’d joke about it with her family, saying one day she was just going to up and run away when they thought she had only left the house to go run some errands. Her joking was light-hearted, assuring her family she would leave a note saying she wouldn’t be gone long … maybe a couple of days or a week … but when running away from the many responsibilities in her life started to turn into a serious option to consider—she knew it was time for a Life Balance.

Tanisha had to Balance or Bust! on that “Road to Burnout.” On her quest for balance, she read many books but also took a long hard look at her choices and how she spent her time. Learning how to keep her life in balance was a journey she is now only too happy to share with other “stretched out too thin” men & women. She shares each discovery not as an expert, but as a “road to burnout” survivor who has made TIME her friend!
