The Opportunity Drawing continues at the July NAPO-LA chapter meeting! For every $5 donation to the chapter, you will be entered to win an hour with Nancy McFarland of SoCal Photo Solutions!

Nancy is a certified Personal Photo Organizer through APPO- the Association of Personal Photo Organizers; Home Movie certified through Pro 8 Millimeter and is a NAPO Golden Circle member.

She began her photo preservation business in 1995 before the explosion of digital photography. She helped hundreds of clients preserve their printed photo collections with workshops on photo preservation, photo organizing, recording family history and custom album making.

By 2005 thanks to the popularity of digital cameras, the computer became the virtual shoebox for most of her clients’ pictures. As their digital photos multiplied, so did their frustration and confusion on how best to enjoy and share their photos.

The need for organizing and educating led to the formation of the Association of Personal Photo Organizers (APPO) in 2010 with Nancy as a founding member. In 2012 she became the west coast marketing manager and training specialist for APPO, helping to grow this emerging profession.

In 2014 Nancy launched her photo organizing business, SoCal Photo Solutions. In addition to printed and digital photo organizing, her services include custom book design, and scanning of printed photos, photo albums, slides and heritage negatives.

With her niche of photo organizing, Nancy teams up on larger projects with professional organizers, senior move managers, family historians, and estate and divorce lawyers.
