Evernote is a robust software program, a powerful digital memory assistant. Many first time users find it challenging. For those who persevere, it will prove to be a valuable solution to storing and organizing everything you have to remember in one application. 

Learn how to use Evernote in this comprehensive four-hour hands-on workshop for new Evernote users. Dolores will take you through the basic how-to’s, from creating notebooks to using the web clipper, to emailing from Evernote so you can even share information and notes with others. This class will enable you to confidently navigate your way around Evernote. (MUST bring your mobile device of choice with your Free*Version of Evernote - App/Website - downloaded and logged in.)

In this Class you will learn:

  • Basic notebook and note creation
  • Creating notes typed directly, audio notes, scanned, photo, from internet
  • Creating notebook stacks, merging/linking notes.
  • Using Tags
  • Using the Web clipper
  • Installing and using across multiple platforms
  • Scanning into Evernote - documents, business cards, photos.
  • Using associated programs: Penultimate, 
  • Sharing notes
  • Sending email to and from Evernote

The Presenter:


    Dolores Kaytes

    Dolores Kaytes is passionate about order and efficiency.  She founded her company, Highly Organized, Inc. in 1998 to use her innate ability and varied experience to help people organize their lives and businesses.  Dolores, a Golden Circle member, has been a NAPO volunteer from the time she joined the LA chapter in February, 1998.  From 1998 through 2001, she served on the NAPO-LA board as Workshop Director, and Program Director, Chapter President, then Past President. In 2006, she joined the NAPO-LA board again as Director of Professional Development for two more terms.  In 2006, she was the recipient of the prestigious NAPO-LA Leading Edge Award. Custom filing systems and QuickBooks training are two of her specialties. She teaches the very popular “Quintessential Filing Workshop” and “Evernote, the Quintessential Memory Assistant”.
