NAPO-LA 2018 LEADERSHIP SHOWCASE

(Members Only Meeting)

with

Dorothy The Organizer

Leadership is not the same for everyone nor is it demonstrated in the same way. Yet, how you lead in the world suggests how you may lead in your own business. Here’s your chance to learn from the insiders how YOU can strengthen your leadership (i.e. strengthen your business acumen). Come to this juicy and informative session facilitated by Dorothy The Organizer, past NAPO-LA President and National Board Member.

“Dorothy The Organizer” is known to millions as the fearless-yet-endearing problem solver on A&E’s Emmy-nominated hit TV series “Hoarders.” She is also a best-selling author of seven books, including her latest, Stuff Your Face or Face Your Stuff.

Dorothy is an 19-year member and speaker for NAPO (past national board member and past Los Angeles President) and member / lecturer for the Institute for Challenging Disorganization. She is a highly sought-after global speaker who energizes and inspires her audiences to produce results and take immediate action.

In addition to being featured in the Wall Street Journal, Forbes and O Magazines, Dorothy appears regularly on the Today Show, the Dr. Phil Show, the VIEW, The Doctors, Hallmark Home & Family, QVC and PBS. She owns three organizing businesses, consults for many companies as a paid influencer, and is developing her own line of products for distribution. Dorothy lives with her husband in Los Angeles.  The Opportunity Drawing continues.  Enter to win an hour of time with veteran organizer, Janet Fishman of HOPE Organizers, Inc.

Janet Fishman, J.D., C.P.D.S., C.H.I.C.

Professional Organizer

President & Owner of HOPE Organizers, Inc.

www.hopeorganizers.com

Janet Fishman’s ideal client is the busy, overwhelmed, and overworked professional as she fully understands the life of juggling children, household, and career because she did that for over 25 years working in the legal field and raising four children as a single mother. Janet worked for a legal vendor where she organized training seminars, instructional materials, meetings, proposals, and trade shows supporting a computerized legal research database.

Janet organizes all areas of the home or office to remove clutter, but her major love is paper. Combined with her Juris Doctorate law degree and her years in the legal and business world, she naturally gravitated towards paper organizing. Being a certified paper specialist, she is an expert in what documents need to be retained and why, and she creates filing systems for people, and maintains these systems on an ongoing basis.  Through organizing, Janet sees people achieve clarity of thought, peace of mind, energy shifts, and a sense of accomplishment. She loves inspiring and helping people to organize and remove clutter to bring about major changes in their lives or careers or to go in new directions.

Besides NAPO, she has also done many hours of continuing education through ICD, the Institute for Challenging Disorganization and AADMM, the American Association of Daily Money Managers.. She is also a Certified Photo Organizer and member of APPO, the Association of Personal Photo Organizers.
